About Sundresses Store

Our policies are an important part of how we do business here at Genius Goods Inc, and we hope that these policies will both clear up any misunderstandings and put your mind at ease.

 

PRIVACY - We never share your information with any outside parties for any reason. You can feel comfortable leaving your main email address (so we can send you a receipt) and not have to worry about spam. You can also leave your actual phone number (in case the delivery person needs it or we need to notify you of a stock problem) without having to worry about salespeople calling you during dinner.

 

SECURITY - Our site's credit card processing is set to the highest possible security settings available. This means that the address given has to match exactly the address that the credit card bill is sent to, the zip codes must match, the telephone numbers must match AND the CVC number on the back of the card must match. In addition, we sometimes call at random to verify that you are who you say you are. Our fraud rate is zero, and we will keep it that way!

Unfortunately, that sometimes makes it hard for the good customers to get through too. If you are having trouble making a purchase, please call us at 704-288-0953 between 9:00 am and 6:30 pm eastern time. We will be glad to help!

 

PURCHASING - Purchases may be made through Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal, and via regular check-in-the-mail mail order.

 

WARRANTY - We certify that these garments are free from defect of material or workmanship. Should any such defect be found within five (5) business days of delivery, your unworn item may be returned for a refund in full.

 

EXCHANGES - If you ordered the wrong size, you don't like the style, don't like the color, don't worry. Just call or email us and let us know. We will give you the address to send it back to. You can then drop the dress back in the box, put in a check for $8.00 (made out to that particular warehouse) and a note explaining what you want. We will send your package right out to you.

 

REFUNDS - If there is a problem with your order that is our fault, we will pay for shipping for a replacement at no cost to you, or issue a refund in full. Refunds are issued only when the item arrives back at our warehouse for inspection, never before.

EXAMPLES OF REFUNDABLE ORDERS:
- You ordered one thing (a white Short Sundress) and we sent you another (a bright orange Muu muu).
- You received a damaged dress.
- You received the wrong style/print/size/color when this information was properly recorded on the order and we just sent you the wrong thing (our fault).

EXAMPLES OF NON-REFUNDABLE ORDERS (EXCHANGES ONLY):
- The dress color looks different than it does on your computer screen. We try to make the colors match as accurately as possible, but programs tend to alter colors a little, and your system will often show very different colors than mine as will your monitor. This is not our fault, it is part of online life.
- You changed your mind. (exchange only... we have plenty of great sundresses for everyone's taste!)
- You ordered the wrong size. (exchange only).
- It did not "get there in time". If you put a deadline on your order, we will cancel it and thank you for your time. We don't ship it ourselves, so we can't make promises. If you have a deadline, contact us first and we will do whatever we can.

 

OTHER - There are no refunds or exchanges on worn goods for any reason. If you wear it to the dinner party, it's yours....

 

CHARGEBACKS - Our company is Genius Goods Inc, and this is clearly stated on this site, the copy of the sale, the processing copy (you get these both by email), and upon your credit card statement. Sometimes people just don't remember the name of the company they purchased from. This is us, we sold you a sundress!

 

If there is an order problem we will make it right within the rules. But a chargeback is a really nasty thing. It hurts a company's credit standing, the company is hit with a non-refundable fine, the company is charged processing and statement fees, and it causes a great deal of nonproductive busywork. A chargeback is NOT a way to get a refund, it is meant as a consumer protection against criminal fraud, and it should not be used unless a crime has been committed.

 

Chargeback issuers will be cheerfully handed over to our collections company.

 

LIMITED WARRANTY - Liability is limited to the value of the product purchased plus any shipping for that one product. The company, stockholders, and employees are not liable for any monies above that amount, and your purchase from this site through Genius Goods Inc is verification that you are in agreement with, will adhere to, and understand in full, these limitations, guidlines and policies
